Sugar Bowl 46 & All Things Sugar Nellie Wk 27 - Hippie Chick's Dilemma

This week the theme for the Paper Craft Sugar Nellie Forum Challenge is "Teenagers" whereas the Sugar Bowl Challenge 46 is Marlene's sketch with an optional theme of "One For The Boys".

Initially I followed the male theme using Hippie Chick as a teenager pondering over teenage boys - football & sports mad, & also in the sense of her going fishing for a boyfriend (hence the sentiment - see the photographs at the end of my post). When I came to photograph my card all I could see was "A Dog's Breakfast" - in short: a mess. I was so frustrated I could have cried & couldn't bear to enter it into the challenges, but neither did I want to miss the Forum Challenge deadline of Tuesday morning as I've not missed one challenge yet. What to do? Salvage the image & have another go - the result is not very exciting but I can live with entering it.
Recipe
Stamp Sugar Nellie Simply Sassy Hippie Chick.

Colouring Derwent Coloursoft Pencils, Paper Stumps & Sansodor; Inkssentials White Opaque Pen; Stickles Glitter Glue (Lime Green & Xmas Red).

The ribbons are from "stash" & the flower is a Petaloo Daisy Box Blend.

I think you are too hard on yourself Paula! I know we are own worst critics.
That said, I do prefer the cleaner lines of the first card. Your colouring of the image is perfect, and you've really done her justice and breathed life into a simple rubber stamp.

Love Elaine xxx (Yes I'm back in the land of the living at last!)xx

Paula - the image is just brilliant. I love the expression on her face! So much a teenager!! The colouring is fabulous. I think my favourite is the first card, but both are really good.
