Duo of Dragonflies' Digitalis Delight Alphatag

I was beginning to despair over a devilishly difficult "D" Alphatag for the Baroque Guild Swap. My dandelion doily was too distressed & dull so I abandoned that & after deciding that the diamante Damask was resembling a disaster I tried decorated diamonds which most certainly didn't fall into a decorative category. I'd abandoned some delightful digitalis (foxgloves) which were also proving dull but as I was  rapidly running out of time since I need to post the tags to arrive by the 23rd I tried adding some dragonflies & decided that would work. Deliberating over my title I realised that I had a duo of dragonflies - finally my "D" Alphatag was done & dusted.

Another gorgeous tag Paula. I am really enjoying these challenges although they do cause some head-scratching at times!!! I've done E, but thought it "needed just a little something" and now I've had to bin it! F is OK, but not got a clue with G yet! Sandra.

Another gorgeous tag Paula! I love your colouring techniques on the foxgloves and the sparkly 'throats' are so pretty. I certainly don't think this would have been 'dull' but the dragonflies and a lovely addition and the holographic embossing is lovely. For some reason I always ruin this type of EP and I think it's probably because I heat it a tad too long. You've done it perfectly.

I just love it Paula.

Digitalis are my favourite traditional cottage garden flowers and we have many in our garden in the most amazing array of colours. Closely followed by lupins and hollyhock.

The contrast of the dark stamping around the edge with the delicately coloured digitalis in the centre offsets perfectly, then the dragonfly panel draws it all together beautifully.

Thank you so much for joining us In the Garden at Stampalot challenge, good luck and hope you will join us again next month.

This is a fabulous tag Paula, the CB stamps are great to work with and your colouring practice has certainly paid off. Great heat embossed dragonflies. The reverse is a work of art as well, I have the fronts finished on the next 3 but not the reverse. Have been doing some spring cleaning so will have to get myself into craft mode again.
