For my second entry into the Sugar Bowl using Tiets' multi-layered sketch I set out with a plan of using golds, browns & reds to reflect the optional autumn theme. I'd seen Elaine's DT sample using the new Simply Sassy Pillow Talk & an idea had germinated in my mind with the image pointing in astonishment at a snowflake as if to say "Look! It's still Autumn but it's snowing". Well, as usual, the card had a life of its own & somewhere along the lines the browns & greens went missing along with Autumn.

The red crimped cardstock was made using a Woodware paper crimper & the red gem swirl using a Bazzill Basics Jewel Template.

This is my first posting using the Mac from start to finish including uploading & editing photos - a bit of a steeper learning curve than we'd intended as my PC is now unusable after a rather trying week with Dell Support. Our original intention was that I should make a gentle transition from the PC to the Mac. I have to say the Mac is a delight.

Recipe
Stamp Sugar Nellie Simply Sassy Pillow Talk.
Inks Memento Tuxedo Black (image), Distress Inks (Aged Mahogany & Peeled Paint) for inking some cardstock edges.
Colouring Derwent Coloursoft Pencils, Paper Stumps & Sansodor; Stickles Glitter Glue (ice Stickles Gold Ice).
Cardstock An assortment of reds, golds & creams plus green in various finishes & textures from "stash".
Punches, Dies etc... Woodware (Circle & Scalloped Circle, Snowflake, leaves), Xcut (Snowflake Corner),  EK Success (Swirl Flourish & Corner Rounder), Spellbinders Nestabilities (Classic Scalloped Ovals Large).
The ribbon, flower, pearl, sequin & most gems (a few being Kanban) are from "stash".
