Stars make me think of night & the owl who calls in the woodland at the back of our house when night falls so I have used the Sugar Nellie owl image issued free with the July 2009 Craft Stamper magazine. Rotating the sketch I made a shortfall card.
Recipe
Image Stamped using VersaFine Vintage Sepia. Watercoloured (Distress Inks with the addition of Whispers Brush Markers & Sakura Stardust Pen). The beak & claws highlighted using 3D Crystal Lacquer.Cut out & mounted on punched circle (Woodware) edged with faux stitching {Inkssentials White Opaque Pen). Paper & Sentiment Nancy Watt Collection Stars & Stripes, edges inked (Distress Ink). Gems Papermania. Cardstock & Sequin from "stash". The white cardstock panels were inked (Distress Ink) & the star border created by inking through punched (Woodware edger) scrap cardstock.
