As a student you are definitely to be commended on your diligence and you obviously gained a great deal from taking Glenda's colouring course. Your results are beautiful and I keep going back to have another look at some of my favourite pieces - the 'tsunami' is one and the dragon is another but they are all lovely.

I'm in the middle of the Back to Basics one and although I've been stamping for 4 years I'm thoroughly enjoying doing all the groundwork that I never even thought about doing before, having just dived in with both feet and consequently made lots of mistakes. I'm also going to do the more advanced one at the end of October. I hope Glenda revisits the colouring one in the new year as I know I won't have time to fit it in before then.

Can I just say what a lovely surprise it was to meet you at the book shop yesterday as I had no idea you lived in that beautiful area. It really made my day and I can vouch for the fact that you are definitely a very petite lady so there is no wonder you have difficulty handling and applying weight to stamps especially the larger ones. Not a task I have any trouble with myself, lol, although I do usually stand up to apply pressure to a stamp.

I'll definitely be back to visit you again Paula.

Hugs
Lesley Xxcraftimammahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00997146794724712348noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3976209508229656885.post-29004040797099528032011-09-26T19:13:19.141+01:002011-09-26T19:13:19.141+01:00your blog is just awesome, Paula, I could spend ho...your blog is just awesome, Paula, I could spend hours here!!
I'd like to thank you for all your lovely comments, I'm honoured!
hugs, AlinaAlinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04262850193014050044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3976209508229656885.post-43560579735055351812011-09-26T15:43:26.593+01:002011-09-26T15:43:26.593+01:00Paula I enjoy reading about your technical color r...Paula I enjoy reading about your technical color research. It's really interesting to see the difference that using the different ink pads makes. I was very limited when I did this piece of work as I only have one white ink pad which was whispers white but I'm going to have to get some others. I think I need to do Glenda's stamping course when she does it next which I think is in December as I'm sure I will learn loads. I've never had any stamping lessons just what I've learnt myself, I wish now I'd signed up for the September course but it's a busy month for me and i didn't think i could give the course the time it needed to get the most from it. Oh well next time.....

Jackie xjackiescraftshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02096021247778212879noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3976209508229656885.post-445999478597680612011-09-08T08:41:18.497+01:002011-09-08T08:41:18.497+01:00Well Paula these are certainly throrough tests and...Well Paula these are certainly throrough tests and thanks so much for sharing your results and your thoughts - very helpful. Incidentally I discovered that the Stampin Up white pigment pad gives a good coverage onto dark card more or less on a par with the Adirondack snow cap.
